Rich-Oil has now been operating successfully for 15
years, with lines which include specialty lubricants as well as state of the art
maintenance products. During the course of time the Company has diversified its lines,
having expanded into other commercial areas. It now has two divisions, namely the
Industrial and Mining Division, which started operations in 1988 and the more recent
Institutional Division, which initiated its activities in 1997.
Industrial and Mining Division
This Division has several lines, the principal one being that of Specialty Lubricants for
critical applications. The use of these products help to reduce costs and improve
performance as a result of a favourable cost-benefit relationship. Their composition is
mineral as well as synthetic and silicone, thus allowing them to cover the needs of
practically any kind of industrial enterprise. The Division also counts with a selection
of specialty lubricants for the mining sector, mostly for the more sophisticated mining
machinery.
Additionally, Rich-Oil also has a line of biodegradable cleaning products for the food
industry, as well as degreasers for both mechanical and electronic applications.
Institutional Division
As part of its diversification process, Rich-Oil established in 1997 a special Hygiene and
Chemical Maintenance Division. The main objectives of this Division were to provide
deodorization services for bathrooms and other closed spaces, as well as sanitary disposal
services for feminine dressings, all of which fully comply with international standards.
